Patrick graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and has spent more than 20 years in the insurance field. He worked for both large and small carriers and as a consultant to employers. His clients have included Fortune 20 businesses as well as small employers with as few as two employees. Patrick is a two-time past president of the Golden Gate Association of Health Underwriters—the local broker organization focused on health insurance—and the board of directors for the California Association of Health Underwriters. Many local organizations request him to speak on health insurance reform. He has been the Managing Member of Burns Employee Benefits Insurance Services, LLC since its founding. He is a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), as well as a RPA, GBA and CMS designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits and the Wharton School.

Paul graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and has spent the last 18 years as a sales and marketing professional in the book, publishing, non-profit, and tech industries before joining Burns Employee Benefits Insurance Services, LLC. He learned the importance of employee benefits working for an employee-owned co-op in the early 1990s and it is with this understanding that he is able to provide meaningful and personal service to his clients.
