About Patrick Burns

Our founder, Patrick Burns, has been a leader in the industry, serving for many years in leadership positions in the industries association, the National Association of Health Underwriters. He currently is on the NAHU Board of Trustees, and has served for a number of years as President of the local Golden Gate Chapter as well as the California chapter. Patrick has spoken often at industry events on current legislation, industry issues and compliance. He has testified as an expert witness in insurance industry litigation and in the State Senate Health Committee in California on Self-funded plan issues, Covered California and Agency issues. He currently is on the Foundation Board of North East Medical Services (NEMS), a community health care organization, and is the Chair of the CAHU foundation and the CAHU PAC.
